BSD now has systems built into our HVAC units at the studio to sterilize the air of viruses, mold and bacteria.
Additionally, the system sanitizes all surfaces in the studio on a continuous basis to help keep it clean and healthy.
Why Choose Broadway South Dance?
Testimonials
There are so many things I love about Broadway, really, but one of my favorites is the fact that you GET to watch your dancers dance! You get to see the class, talk to the teachers, talk to you or Warren. There are several “other” dance companies out there that do NOT allow parents to watch their dancers dance. I went and visited one prior to putting Mackenzie at Broadway and they said that we would get to watch 1 or 2 classes per season. Makes you wonder why they do not let you watch class! I am so excited that we made the right choice by putting Mackenzie at Broadway! I could not be happier and she absolutely loves loves it there. I do appreciate all you do! ~ LISA MCDOWELL
My favorite thing about Broadway South is that Broadway South Dance makes you feel like a family! ~SAMANTHA ORUM
I think Lexie’s favorite thing would have to be the teachers. They are so personable and work with each child at their level. She has had different teachers almost every year for the last 4 years, and she has loved them all! My favorite thing about BSD is the warm and professional atmosphere. You and Warren are both friendly and approachable. Your studio is not like alot of the studios around, where a young girl gets a degree in dance at a local college and then tries to open up a business with no know-how or life experience. I love the fact that your life is dance, and your background and experience in the dance world puts Broadway South Dance at a level above the competition. The teachers are all more than qualified, as well. ~LESLIE WOOLUMS
I love the way you treat each dancer like part of your family. It is one big family and it makes us feel good to have our children there! We love you guys! ~ KRISTIE COOPER
Dance is a blessing in Sydney Belle’s life. She has gained confidence, friendships, and a love that will last a lifetime. Belle dances at school, home, and if we didn’t stop her, church. Broadway South Dance provides a beautiful dance studio, excellent teachers each bringing their own creativity and style to Belle’s life. When I walk into the studio it is like walking into a second home, from day one I was always called by name, and Belle was always made to feel special. Thank you so much for all you do for all these dancers. ~ Jennifer Vandyne
This is our third year at Broadway South! I love how organized everything is at Broadway South!! I also love that every class is FUN for Kayleigh. It never feels like work to her, although they work hard to learn their dances. She always has a good time and is excited to go every week! ~ MARSHA GARRETT
Can’t have just one!! Fun teachers with positive attitude Great class schedule with lots of options Huge studios with windows for parents to watch Warren’s amazingly always helpful attitude at the front desk! I love Broadway ~ANNETTE HITES
Michelle Meeker has assisted me with my classes at the Broadway Dance Center in NYC and with many master classes for many years. She has great knowledge of technique and different styles of dance, added to that is her experience as a student and performer which gives her a special understanding of dancers needs. Michelle holds the perfect balance of what a teacher needs to be in the classroom for the students to grow technically and artistically. I highly recommend her to you.

Having worked with Michelle on the musical stage I can see why she is such an effective instructor and coach in the studio. With the dancers her work was professional, crisp and innovative. With the singers and actors who have no dance background (that’s me) she was patient, encouraging and altogether delightful. What she put together was clever, accessible and fun to do. Michelle has the ability to draw the best out of each person’s available talent and that is the hallmark of excellent teaching.
Scott Wright, One of Mobile’s top theatre performers
“I feel Michelle’s extensive professional background and life experience will be an invaluable asset to any performance program. Not only does she possess a wealth of knowledge, I believe she has many other necessary qualities that will make her a successful teacher-compassion, fairness, and a true love of the subject matter-dance! I believe any studio full of dancers will enjoy and benefit from their experience with Michelle.
